Paid Internship: GIS modeling, Ethnographic Research, and Digital Humanities

The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training announced in an email that Mississippi River Delta Archaeological Mitigation project will be hosting three internships in collaboration with NCPTT, the Cane River Creole National Historical Park, the Louisiana Public Archaeology Lab at UL Lafayette and the Louisiana Office of Cultural Development, Division of Archaeology. The internship runs from November 2017 through May 2018.

The internships will involve coordinating with tribal governments, working in ArcGIS to develop a database and record sites, helping develop a predictive model, and more.

This is an undergraduate internship. Applications are due October 31, 2018.
